Culemborg, the city where Taaltutor is based, has no less than 80 nationalities. What a fantastic opportunity this provides for cultural exchanges and language learning! In the city’s beautiful theater, appropriately named Theater de Fransche School, we host a Language Café every first Monday evening of the month. Come meet us and other locals and internationals for an informal get-together. Read more about the cafés here.
Language walks
New language activities grew out of the corona pandemic, to provide the growing group of Talencafé visitors with offline meetings. One such language activity was, and still is the Language Walk. Read more about the walks here.
Language workshops for NT2 students (A2+)
On Mondays Taaltutor offers Language Workshops for job seekers with A2 level. We talk about all kinds of things in the workplace, but also about vacancies, job applications, writing a CV, networking, and so on. Read more about these workshops, how you can participate and what it costs here.
Workshops for language teachers
Since 2013, Taaltutor has been providing online language lessons to small groups and individuals. Sandra Wormgoor and her partner Mary van den IJssel have given workshops on their methods for teaching online and published a practical guide for self-employed language teachers “Grenzeloos lesgeven” in the spring of 2021.
